Abstract:
This thesis is framed in a context between two generations of ground-based Cherenkov telescopes for very high energy gamma rays (VHE, > 50 GeV). The current instruments, in operation for about 15 years, are in a shape of great maturity regarding operations and scientific exploitation. The prototype telescopes of the new generation that will be part of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) are currently in their commissioning phase.
