Abstract:
An investigation of the photon arrival time spread in cosmic ray induced air showers and its impact on air Cherenkov telescopes for ground-based gamma-ray astronomy will be presented. The photon pulse integration time, discrimination method and coincidence time width influence the threshold and collection area and in turn the flux measurements.
