Attached is the draft of the slides for the talk I will be presenting on Oct 26th at TeVPa2015 about the EBL study using 1ES1011+496.

Please note that the Crab flux level quoted on slide 4 comes from the latest MAGIC Crab paper (JHEA 5, 2015). I'll add a reference.
This value is ~25% lower than what one would get from the fitted spectrum in the MAGIC-1 Crab paper - which is still what Flute shows as a reference in light curves.

Dear Stefano,

thanks for the comments.

- the note on the first slide is empty, please check if you intended to point out something there.

- ApJ 667 refers to the paper from which the plots are taken

- Inflection point in slide 7: just means the first derivative (in log-log scale) changes its decreasing trend for a short while right above 1 TeV. This is pretty obvious in the plot, and is something that is not expected in the intrinsic VHE spectrum of a BL Lac (in absence of fancy absorption features or weird electron energy distributions)

- Domínguez vs. Domínguez's : should be the latter, but it is rather impossible to pronounce, so I prefer to stick to the former.

Ok for the rest, an updated version will follow soon.

Version 2 attached. Sorry about the plot on slide 12, I cannot shift the labels to the right in short timescale. This is a plot by Adiv, but anyway the hidden part is too far away from the wavelength range we are exploring.
